I bought a rice cake "Mochi" at a Japanese sweets shop Daieidouhonpo.

There is a rice cake under the maple leave.
The rice cake is soft and sticky. 
There is red bean paste in the rice cake.
This red bean paste contains maple syrup.

There is a walnut when the leave is removed.
I can't eat this leaf.

It is tasty! Sweet but not too sweet. The hardness and bitterness of the walnut is a nice accent.
