About housing in Hyogo Prefecture, characteristics of each region

Most of the access to this blog is from Edarabia. Thank you Edarabia.
Edarabia is informing for international students.
So I write about various areas in Hyogo Prefecture for those who are wondering where to live.

Toyooka
Toyooka is located in the north of Hyogo Prefecture.
It is also far from the prosperous Kobe and Osaka. Summers are very hot, winters are very cold, and there is a lot of snow. Inconvenient in rural areas. Close to Kinosaki Onsen.

Himeji
Western part of Hyogo prefecture. big city.
The area around Himeji Station is convenient for transportation, and there are many shops. Far from Kobe and Osaka. Countryside except around Himeji Station. Crime is lower in rural areas.

Kakogawa
There are few schools that international students go to.
Easy access to Himeji and Akashi.
The area around the station is convenient. If it is far from the station, the number of buses is very small and inconvenient.
Tap water doesn't taste good.
There is a big river. Ideal for exercise such as jogging.
Disaster prevention in this city is solid.

Akashi
There are many people in Akashi who have jobs and schools in Kobe.
Good access to Kobe and Osaka. There are many buses.
Good for those who have a school in the western part of Kobe.
Services for households with children are good.
The rent is cheaper in the area west of Akashi river.
The ground on the eastern mountain side is strong and resistant to large earthquakes.
There is a long comfortable beach. Delicious seafood.

Western Kobe
Country.
Means of transportation: Subway, bus, private car.
Rent is cheap. Rent is particularly cheap around Arise, where Kobe Gakuin University is located. Because part of Kobe Gakuin University has moved to Port Island, the number of people has decreased, and there are extra rooms. But far from the station. To get to the nearest stations, Ikawadani Station and Akashi Station, you need to use a bus or a motorcycle.
There are many shops around Myodani Station and Seishin-Chuo Station.

Maiko, Tarumizu, and Suma on the coast of Kobe
It's nice to take a walk on the beach.
Sanyo train and JR, both can be used and access is good.
The damage caused by the earthquake was greater in the area east of Sumaura Park, where the earthquake fault is located.

Nagata of Kobe
Downtown.

Around Hyogo Station, Shinkaichi Station, Minatogawa Station, and Kobe Station
Around Shinkaichi, there are mafia offices and sex shops. Fukuhara is famous for its red-light district.
Minatogawa is a good old downtown.

Around Motomachi Station
There are many chinese.
Convenience. Commercial area.

Around Sannomiya Station
Convenience. Commercial area. There are a lot of shops.
Kitano is a tourist spot and the slopes are tough.
Ninomiya is downtown.
Isogami is quiet and comfortable to live in.

Around Kasuganomichi Station
Cheap rent

Higashinada Ward, Kobe City
A town of delicious sweets and sake.
Rich people live on the mountain side.

North Kobe
cold. It snows easily. Icicles form in winter.
Suzurandai has many slopes. It is called the Tibet of Kobe.
Access to Sannomiya and Kobe Station is expensive.

Amagasaki
It used to be a downtown area.
It has recently developed into a convenient residential area.
Good access to Osaka.

Kawanishi
Actively growing vegetables.
Hankyu train is cheap.

Sanda, Ono, Miki, Yashiro, Tanba, Shiso, Asago etc...
You can't live without a car. Rural area.
